Decent forms of life are formed and maintained in a society only when all its members voluntarily take responsibility for the institutions of the common life. That's what it's all about when we talk about volunteering.

Circle of friends Goethe Institut eV

The association was founded in 1994 by a circle of dedicated citizens from the Schwäbisch Hall area. The Goethe-Institut constantly gives new impulses to the cultural and social life of the city. From the beginning, the purpose of the association was to support the Goethe-Institut in the implementation of its motto "Learning Language - Experiencing Culture" in an ideal and financial way in order to expand the personal and financial scope for program design for the course participants. Together with numerous sponsors, we contribute to keeping the institute's offer at a high level and increasing its attractiveness through our commitment. Commitment: Chairman

College Weingarten

Effective October 1, 2015, Dr. Ing. Walter Döring, on the recommendation of PH Weingarten, is appointed by the Minister of Science Theresa Bauer as a member of the university council. Commitment: Member of the University Council

TSG gymnastic and sports community Schwäbisch Hall

The TSG Schwäbisch Hall is the largest sports club for competitive sports, health sports and fitness in the city and the Schwäbisch Hall region. More than 2,800 members have already opted for TSG. Engagement: President to 06,2020 Honorary President since 6,2012

Friends and foundation for the preservation of medieval churches

Förderverein Medieval Churches in Schwäbisch Hall eVund Foundation Medieval churches in Schwäbisch Hall see themselves as civic initiatives. They feel committed to the past and the future. The three medieval churches are architectural witnesses of the spiritual and social life and the artistic and technical skills of our ancestors. The three churches still shape the image of our city today; they are attractions for guests and home for locals. That should remain so. Therefore Förderverein Medieval Churches in Schwäbisch Hall eV and Stiftung Medieval Churches in Schwäbisch Hall are acting today and counteract the natural and environmental aging of these buildings in order to preserve this important cultural heritage for later generations.
